That would be a real bad idea. They even made a specific version to run on 3DS for 11 so i'm sure they could do the same for the Switch.

The history: Horii wanted a numbered Dragon Quest on console space. And came of Dragon Quest XI disaster.  If Dragon Quest XII will be on Ps5 only, it was a monster disaster.

Dragon Quest rule: the most successful platform in Japan at the moment gets the numbered Dragon Quest.
