So true. I'm mainly a story kind of guy, that's why I didn't mind MGS4's long cutscenes, in fact, I was loving every minute of it. I feel that (good) cutscenes that help the story move along is very immersive, to me. Overly long cut scenes do only work for RPGs, I remember Xenosaga part 1, the first 6 hrs, there was only 90 min of gameplay LOL.
