Labels can be quite useful in structuring (i.e. making sense of) things, but some problems would definitely not exist (at least to the extent they do now) if we didn't put labels on everything all the time.

Putting labels on things that matter is cool. Sadly sexuality and whatever gender one thinks they are does not matter at all and anyone who tries to leverage labels for it is an a-class idiot and probably an asshole.
