WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO BECOME A PUBLISHER?

You wouldn’t believe the amount of hidden gems out there that are left unearthed! We’re making it our mission to bring interesting games that tickle our fancy to the surface and get the love and attention they deserve. We’ve been digging around and speaking with developers from all over the world and there’s a massive wad of fantastic projects brimming with potential.

We’re keen to help talented studios focus on game development, while our newly formed publishing team handle the other bits. Don’t worry, all our devs (like Steve, Kev, Daley, et al) are still working on… whoops, almost had us there!

ARE YOU STILL MAKING GAMES? WE NEED MORE YOOKA-LAYLEE! 

Of course we are! There are many more adventures on the way for Yooka-Laylee and friends. We’ve also heard the cries from our community about doubling down on Vendi… we know you love her really!

We’ve got nowt to reveal just yet, though we can say there are multiple things in the works…

WHAT TYPE OF GAMES WILL YOU BE PUBLISHING?  

We’re not planning on pigeon-holing ourselves into one genre or style, so you lot are going to have an exciting mixed bag to play with! It’ll be like the good old days of pick-n-mix at the cinema, but with less calories.

 

WHAT’S WITH THE NEW LOGO?

We thought now would be a great time for a new lick of paint. Playtonic is evolving and so is our branding! We’re still the same Playtonic you know and love, we’ve just expanded to include Playtonic Friends.

Besides, you know, we wanted to work on more apparel opportunities…

SO, YOU SAID YOU’RE EVOLVING… DOES THIS MEAN THERE WILL BE FUTURE JOB OPPORTUNITIES?
