I know this comes up in every "best of" thread, but "best" does not mean "influential." "Best" means best. I know that Goldeneye redefined the genre, but there's been a ton of better console FPS's since.

 

So then, could you please redefine 'best'?

This sounds a bit like a contradiction to me, it is placed 6th but there are ton's of better fps's since...?

Either you judge them contemporary or just put the old ID games and n64 shooters last.
