If the patent only came out now, then it's probably way too late for RDNA3, which should be close to tape-out by now. Unless of course it's been a while since AMD applied for that patent, then it's quite possible to be part of RDNA3.

So maybe it will make it? And if it's a chiplet design similar to how their CPUs work, it shouldn't be too hard to add it in. It's the software that might take a while to get optimized though.
