Yeah it's rather depressing. Not that you can get a ps5 either, nor Series X here.
32GB ram gaming laptops start are CAD 2,000 here, 2,400 to get a worthwhile GPU upgrade with it.
Anyway, more RAM should help a lot! Flying over Madrid on my current laptop
