Even without the pandemic creating additional demand, Nintendo would have been in a great position but as we can see at Week 9 Software Sales in 2021 will surpass 2021 Software sales for the Quarter. While Monster Hunter Rise could very well open above 2 million physical. Next few weeks are going to be very interesting especially with so much new software launching compared to 2020 when the only new game that launched that cleared 50K sales were Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, Hatsune Miku: Project Diva MegaMix, Persona 5 Scramble and in the final week of the quarter we had New Horizon and One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4.

In the meantime the next major game on the PS4/PS5 is Resident Evil: Village, all the way in May... I mean as far as the next three months are concerned I'd be suprised to see any PS4/PS5 games crack 50K sales
