I'm not a big fan of the game or series but I have to agree, at least from technology standpoint. I wish Unreal had a better intro, the Nali Castle flyby was very impressive at the time but it wasn't an intro.

About Unreal, the Nali Castle flyby was great because it showed a great game feature, that, just like Thief, Duke Nukem 3D and a few others, it used verticality more and better than most previous early 3D engine games. Deus Ex and Morrowind did it too, but they came two and four years later respectively.
