Goldeneye should ALWAYS be on the top of these lists. To anyone who says it hasn't aged well... actually try playing it ;)
It's aged incredibly well, it's still very fast paced, the shooting mechanics are just perfect, no other FPS feels as satisfying to play. The mission and unlock system is unrivalled, a multiplayer that has only been bettered by games from the same team (Timesplitters for you dummies!), Goldeneye remains the best FPS ever.
Yawn @ HL at the top... HL2 was much better. Doom should be much higher as well.
By the way - I've never heard of Powerslave before? Does it have an Iron Maiden soundtrack? If not - I ain't interested!
