I would say the regular edition should suffice, you can find it used at Gamestop for 25 bucks or new for 30, I bought mine on that Amazon deal for 20 bucks, you could possibly get yours from buy.com and use the google checkout to get it for 20 brand new. I never played the expansion but if the regular game is not enough for you, you can always buy the expansion later on on PSN or on BD.
