I didn't read anything else but I'll state this:
If GTA, Halo, and SSBB don't round out the top three, that list is CRAP. Those WILL be the best-selling games this holiday season.
Starcraft is anticipated, but when is the last time a company shot for the moon in a multiplayer game and received long-term play on it? I expect both Halo and SC to fall a little flat in that regard, just like Counter-Strike did with Source. You can't recapture lightning in a bottle, no matter how hard you try.
And Assassin's Creed, Uncharted, etc? Yeah, I'm looking forward to every one of them but most anticipated? Are you joking me? While we're at it, let's just put Bioshock #1 even though I doubt it will sell more than 1.5m copies WW. I'm looking forward to it and therefore it should be #1.
BTW, am I the only one that thinks Naughty Dog should have gone to LucasArts to make Uncharted an Indiana Jones game? I love the style, I love the look of Uncharted, but boy OH HOT DAMN, if that was an Indiana Jones game, I would buy a PS3 for it.
