So that was a bunch of mostly PlayStation and late 90s games. Now we're heading into the final stretch. For some reason it all feels quicker than in other years. Maybe it's because I've been doing these five at a time this time.

#10: During the reveal of this game, there was a shot over the main character overlooking a pair of mountains in the distance, that looked very similar to the main concept art for this long series very first game, revealing the new game's biggest inspiration.

#9: After numbers in the thousands, they thought why not just name it what it is, and use a single digit.

#8: In the recent remake of this track, it only lasts one lap, but in this game, this track was a full three laps which took like 9 minutes on the slow mode.

#7: Initially, there was a bug in this game that made it crash to desktop when you moved you cursor over the icon of the Cloth goods.

#6: This second game looks pretty much exactly like the first one, but because you could make buildings out of actual walls and platforms instead of terraforming a big block and making for example stalls underground, it's all the more realistic.

10. Breath of the Wild
9. Sim City 4
8. Mario Kart 8
7. Ultima Online
6. Roller Coaster Tycoon 2

The best Zelda not from Nintendo.

The first letter of the names of the protagonists form the name of the game (at least the first word).

#7
Long ago, the world was nothing more than an endless sea cloaked in a boundless sky, reaching as far as could possibly be imagined.

9. Hyrule Warriors
8. Octopath Traveler
7. Civilization
