They had to give it away for free for 2 months to even touch 1 million. They got 225k downloads on iOS and Android in the first week after offering it for free. Would love to see it's current base, or any relevant statistics, but after doing backflips over this meaningless accomplishment, it's been nothing but crickets. Their model sucks. What they offer sucks. The value proposition sucks. Until they change what they're doing, completely, and I doubt that will happen, because the morons at Google thought their pathetic plan of attack was good to begin with, they will languish, and only occasionally appear in discussion when they pay for flamebait "articles".
