The switch has the same scalpers and scarcity, but Legend of Zelda has a ratio of 1:1 ( and one moment has more Zelda games selling than Switch).
Or the scalpers is so big and then couldn't sell all the videogames or the people really deeply invested into a brand, that they get a system without any game only promised and dreams of future support?
The Switch didn't launch during the holidays, during a pandemic, with a full digital SKU. In fact it launched with 32gb, which encourages physical sales much more.
I think the people that bought 2 Legend of Zelda games were deeply invested in the brand though.
