I think it would be wise to build a database of historic SIE sales. From all generations. Since the info is so piecemeal it would be a massive advantage having a single database showing it all.

Ratchet and Clank, > 5 million, (Insomniac said it was their best selling game ever before Spiderman).
Bloodborne , Zhuge, 2 million+ in NA alone
Gran Turismo, entire history of sales was released by PD, no info on Sport bar 8-10 million players.

The interesting thing about Gran Turismo is  like you said they had the sales of all their games on the website and updated them regularly, but stopped with sport .

I wonder if they being alone with regards to having the sales on their site had something to do with their unique status among Sony studios. that being they are a subsidiary with their own board.

Perhaps PD had authorization to put the sales numbers because they were the studio that was selling many times over the others.
