Conclusion: (for CrazzyMan)

The PS3 in the same TimeFrame as the PS2 is losing when it has had multiple price cuts, a large number of "saviors" and numeous SKU's.

Even though it may have had been neck and neck with the PS2 at launch, this is only because of splintered launches. Right now, the PS3 is currently trailing the PS2 at the same point of life.

Since it is currently trailing in each region, it means that it can never hope to accomplish its sales. For it to accomplish PS2 sales, it has to bring its WW up to PS2 sales. That means it has to bring each region up.

It is currently behnd in each region. That means it is trailing the PS2. Right now, it is behind in region sales. That means, (if we use your chart) the PS2 will surpass it since it is losing WW. If it is losing WW, it can not possily be selling the same as the PS2.

Final Word: The PS3 is selling worse than the PS2.
