The most amusing thing I find about using WoW for anything is the GPU/CPU load for both sides being so little which indicates a severe bottleneck somewhere else for both GPUs.

Ngl, but if you remember this zone from legion:

It used to be filled with a plethora of NPC's and players alike, and even when I set the game to high, it still brought down my fps to the 30's, and that's with an i76700k/1080ti and 16gb DDR4 ram. I've also had performance woes whenever players show up in towns on ESO too. I imagine the same sort of thing occurs in FFXIV as well.

I think MMO games put too much into player demands from the CPU/GPU, but then again, WOW is ancient and ESO came out in 2014, and XIV around the same time.

I'd like to see how Amazon's MMO performs on similar hw for player counts on screen.

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
