They seem to be trading blows from what I can tell...

Of course, using youtube videos like this, especially on a game like WoW is nonsense because having different mounts, characters, the amount of people on screen and etc all can have an affect on performance. Orgrimmar for example, the 3070 has a lot more people/mounts than the 6800XT. The sad part is how 6800 XT seems to be comparable against the 3070 on a game like WoW which isn't even that heavy on RT affects. The real test will be on games like Cyberpunk where they will really tax the GPU with RT.

I was talking about the average FPS in those areas.

6800XT looks to be clearly ahead: Here's AMD

Nvidia:

But yes, Cyberpunk and Far cry 6 will be interesting.

I think it's time to get your eyes checked if you don't see the difference in those two pictures and why the 3070 has such a large performance difference in this scene. Here's a hint: the 3070 has a ton more people/mounts which results is more ray traced shadows and etc. I even talked about it on my post.

The most amusing thing I find about using WoW for anything is the GPU/CPU load for both sides being so little which indicates a severe bottleneck somewhere else for both GPUs.
