HDMI 2.1 didn't exist 6 years ago.. There are plenty 120 hz tvs out there yet none accept 120 fps input unless they have hdmi 2.1

It's another nice trip up for the casual consumer.

My TV is 2.0, and say it accepts 1080p120fps so I don't know, still don't really matter, for me 60fps is mostly unnecessary anyway.
