I am not interested in SD downloads - I can get it elsewhere, both downloadable and physical. If Sony don't roll out HD downloads, then no dice for me. If they roll out HD downloads, then I'm in, but wouldn't that affect their Blu-ray sales? It would seem that they are competing against each other.

And even if you don't have an HDTV, why (apart from a possible price difference) would you buy SD? HD can be downscaled and look nice, but upscaled SD won't look as nice.
