While it's probably not good for PS5 sales to have Miles Morales, and HZD2 as crossgen titles, at least Sony has SOMETHING that is truly exclusive to PS5, with Demon's Souls and Ratchet.

MS on the other hand launches all it's games day one on XB1, XB Series, and PC.

And yes, I'm actually happy to have both Miles and HZD2 on PS4. I don't plan on getting a PS5 until the Pro version comes out. And if Sony winds up putting all their stuff on PC, I'll never get a PS5, because I'll have no need to.

Edit: Wait, I'll have to get a PS5 eventually once my PS4 Pro finally kicks the bucket in order to be able to play my massive PS4 library. But that wouldn't be bought until 2027 or later. :P

Okay, let me see if I understand this; you are not able to play Demon's Soul and Ratchet but you are still happy because at least Sony has SOMETHING that can be called "exclusive." Am I understanding this right?

I typically don't buy a new PS console until at least 2-3 years in. So either I'll get a PS5 in 2022-2023 and have a nice backlog of exclusives waiting for me, or those games will come to PC. Either way I'm happy.

Edit: I mean, don't get me wrong. I'd much rather have Sony focus entirely on making the PS5 a success, by making HZD2, Miles, Ragnarok etc as PS5-Only titles, with no PC or PS4 ports ever planned. But I already know they are very likely to do PC ports 2-3 years in, so in that case I'm just happy to be able to play some of those games on PS4, while I wait to see if PC ports will actually happen or not.

Sony at least has a little confidence in the ability of their new console to sell games. MS on the other hand seems to be signaling that they think the attach ratio on XB Series will be abysmal, so they are hedging their bets by throwing literally everything, and the kitchen sink onto everything and the kitchen sink. Xbox games are on damned near anything MS can get them on, because they don't think they can turn a profit just by console software sales alone. That's also why I'm kinda skeptical as to Bethesda games being permanently Xbox-Only. IMO that could go either way right now. Still waiting to see what MS does.
