Even though I think the lineup for the console is still significantly weaker after a lot of the titles that previously seemed "exclusive" are now also on Playstation 4, I have to admit that I really admire this approach Sony is taking with the Playstation 5, packing the console back to back with quality exclusives in it's first year. In a way it's kind of unfortunate that I tried to get into Playstation this generation, felt like there were few good games in it's first few years and was kind of jaded by the time the heavy hitters started rolling around. I really envy people who get to come into the Playstation 5 having played little of the Playstation 4 or even being an entirely new Playstation owner. Not only is this a packed lineup and one of the best in Playstation history for a first year, but you also have shit like, the PS Plus Collection, where if you don't have a PS4 you'll have like 20 great games to start with out of the box. Just wanna say too, while it can easily become janky and bland in the final product, Returnal despite having a really shit name is probably the best next-gen game conceptually so far. Love that concept, basically Alien with a timeloop.

If you've played any of House Marque games you kinda know what to expect. They've made some really fun shoot em in the past on the PS3 and 4 - like Super Stardust and Resogun. Which is why I'm quite excited for this.

I think the problem is that this is more ambitious than those kind of games, so I'm not sure how well they'll pull it off. But yea, I liked resogun a lot.

Your post just made me picture someone picking up a PS5 as their first Sony console in a decade, playing all the great PS Plus collection games, and then realizing that PS is miles beyond Xbox in terms of good games.

I unironically kind of based that image off of someone on the VGC Discord server, lol.

Hey send me the link.
