Again, MS said their stance in January. Sony said the exact same thing before their console launched. That to me is BS. 

Sony never once claimed nor implied there wouldn’t be cross gen games.

Doesn’t take much to understand that studios don’t stop working just to wait for PS5 dev kits. Many already had games in development for the PS4 and started making a PS5 version after getting dev kits. No reason to twist this into some kind of stupid foul play on Sony’s part. You are the one creating this narrative that Sony somehow lied, by twisting their words and intentions, because you revel in spreading FUD and creating discord between each console’s fanbases.

Saying we believe in generations IS an implication in itself, especially when timed after MS saying their cross gen support. If you can’t see that for what it is, that it did in fact give many people the wrong idea, then we got nothing more to say. 

But Don was right, I’m not revelling, I’m frustrated that MS gets the short end of the PR stick for being transparent and Sony gets the glory for being vague and mysterious. 

You said many times you enjoy the console war shit. Don’t go and pretend otherwise. People could twist and have twisted the words said on both PS’s and XBox’s sides, and it never achieves anything good.

The question is: Why can’t you enjoy your brand of choice and focus on what good it brings you, instead of putting such effort into fuelling this console war and point a finger at every sentences Sony mentions that can be twisted or misinterpreted to mean whatever narrative that suits you?  

I do, but Don saw where I’m at with this motivation wise. If you can’t see that’s not my problem. Look, you wanna pretend Jim Ryan’s comment didn’t give anybody the wrong impression that’s fine. Sometimes it’s nice to escape from reality :) 

Otherwise feel free to look up my gamertag, I’ve been pretty busy last couple years with games. I like to debate, leave me alone. Also shame on you picking on the poor defenceless Xbox fan :p
