Lot to unpack here. I’m sure the act of beheading an enemy of the state isn’t a French invention. Yea, the long dead French lawmakers are really regretting this. Also the church victims aren’t terrorists so the comparison doesn’t hold. Also like your unintentional implication that Muslim extremists are behaving literally hundreds of years in the past.
Maybe catch up to modern times? Would be nice.
