I almost bought a 5900X today but it was snatched out of my basket.
I just looked at the benchmarks and if I wasn't dependent on PCIE4 I would strongly reconsider getting AMD. Those benchmarks are horrible compared to what was promised. With the purported IPC gains a 5900X should not be losing a single benchmark against Intel. Which means they did some bullshit.
If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.
