Obviously you look at the revenue of the industry and you can see they have become as big as the movie industry. Video games are here to stay now... none of these video game crash of 1984 doomsday prophecies. Recession proof? Absolutely not. If a REAL recession (great depression) happens then it'll take a hit, but like movies there is no bubble to burst.
