Their basically ripping off Rock Band by adding Drums and Mic, and possibly improving on it by adding the ability to make your own songs, and some new gimmicks on the instruments. Combined with their already established install base on pretty much every viable platform they're pretty much set-up to crush RB2 sales wise at least. |
DUDE, For the last time, THEY'RE NOT RIPPING OFF. Harmonix didn't even really "Make" Guitar Hero.

Harmonix bought the license to "GuitarFreaks" by Konami, added 2 frets, and just made it a console version. Guitar Hero: World Tour will be better. Much better, even better than Rock Band 2. I'm convinced. Also, Rackband is waaaaaaay to easy, and RB 2 will probably be just as easy. And also, RedOctane has been developing "Drum Hero" since before Guitar Hero III. They just combined the project with Guitar Hero 4. They are not "ripping off". Adding instruments is the next logical step. |
