Eternal Darkness isn't 2nd party anymore considering they are making a 360 game (Too Human), but having to use 3rd parties doesn't really help the fact that Nintendo doesn't like to do good story telling. A lot of people don't care, anyway, I'm just saying. Some people think they could use some voice actors a little more.

Well last gen it was hard seeing as nintendo games usually have alot of content, and voice acting does take up alot of space. Now they have the same amount of space as a dvd so I think they could fit more voice acting.

 

Perhaps that is a factor. Didn't some PS1 games have voice acting, though?

Some, but they probably didn't have too much content. ANd I think that most that had voice acting blended a mix between voice acting and text.
