I dont think Switch is going to take away from consoles. I think Xbox is just going to decline because of their new model. PS5 is just going to decline overall from PS4 just because not everyone is going to choose to upgrade. Some people have budget constraints so if they can play the same games on PS4 they will hold off on upgrading. I think initial sales will be really good for both systems. There are still a lot of hardcore fans of each system. But i think sales are going to slow quicker. Dont forget there are also new competitors in the arena. Amazon and Google with their cloud gaming. Nvidia has their streaming. I just think console sales overall will decline, however, i still see a huge market for handheld gaming.
