When is 4K worth it on a monitor for PC gaming?

Maybe in 2 years unless you have big pockets. The lower end 4ks aren't bad but I'd choose a lower resolution than those unless you want to play consoles on your monitor. The good 4k gaming monitors are getting cheaper but still not quite there yet. I think in 2 years, there will be a pretty good selection of 4k monitors for a reasonable price.
