Again learn your history, PS4 was outselling Xbox one 75 million to 35 million at the time. Sony had already won the generation. It's baffling how much the mod allows trolling if its against Microsoft.

EXACTLY! Learn your history. I've been saying that since the beginning, and history shows that Xbox acquiring studios does little to nothing to bolster their brand.

It's not trolling if it's simply stating the reality of the situation. It's funny that folks like you get personally offended and call what I'm doing trolling when all I'm doing is explaining the situation from a logical perspective. So the reality isn't on your side. I get it. I can't help that, and I'm not going to bend over backward to play nice because reality offends you. Xbox lost this gen. Period. They lost hard, and there's a multitude of reasons why that is. They have some good ideas, but it's clear that if they knew what they were doing or took a different approach, the battle would be more balanced. The reality is that they are not doing all too well on the console market. almost all of their moves make them a great publisher company, not a console manufacturer and that's the problem.

You can't just call foul and cry and whine because you can't handle reality. I've been making a conscious effort to explain WHY Microsoft hasn't been doing all too great, but you and many others are just calling me a pessimist or saying that I'm a troll or something. It's actually kind of sad that your only move is to repeat the same clearly wrong arguments and push the same faulty agendas on repeat. Numbers don't lie. Success doesn't lie. Facts don't care about your feelings.

The only real loser of the last-gen is the WiiU. You seem to think that just because Sony won the generation that must mean Xbox was a complete failure.

In 2019, Sony revenue from gaming was 12 Billion while on the other hand, Microsoft revenue from gaming was 20 Billion. It's clear that what Microsoft did to change the Xbox brand is working and bring lots of revenues. Enough so that it could greenlight a 7.5 billion acquisition that will bolster the Xbox exclusives.

If Microsoft really gave up on being a Console manufacturer they wouldn't be the maker of last-gen most Powerful Xbox one X and the upcoming generation Xbox Series X. It was crystal clear that Microsoft is firmly committed to the console landscape and that was before the Zeminax acquisition.

Seem to me like your the one that as a problem with reality, Xbox is no longer just a console brand, Microsoft as decided to go with Xbox ecosystem (Console-PC-Xcloud). You are well aware that Microsoft is bringing all of its exclusives to PC and love to compare consoles sales since clearly, PS4 outsold Xbox one. All of Microsoft's move as been to bolster the Xbox brand. You obviously should not be an Xbox owner anymore because you mention in a past thread that you will not support Gamepass. Gamepass subscription and service are now the future of the Xbox brand.

You claim that history shows that acquiring studios does little to bolster their brand, you must still be referring to your wrong stance on the Rare acquisition. Because the history of all of the current Microsoft acquisition hasn't been written yet.

Like you said Numbers don't lie and success doesn't lie and it's clear that Microsoft as found a winning solution. Microsoft now owns 23 studios and most if not all future ZeniMax IP will have some type of Xbox exclusivity.
