Edit 2: @Strategy: STD aren't just from whores.  Condoms don't always protect you from contact STDs like warts and herpes.  Even if you aren't having sex you can get STDs from using hotel blankets, public toilets, etc.

Always blame public toilets when you explain it to your girlfriend.. ;)

I thought the STD germs only survive on a surface for less than a minute though?

 

 

It depends on the STD.  Fungi, many bacteria and viruses can survive longer.  You are not going to get "the Hiv" (pronounced as one word not three letters) from a toilet unless some fluids come into contact with a fresh open wound.
