Prices have wildly fluctuated in Canada. I still have a receipt for Blood Omen 2, which came out in 2002, for $108. About 5 years after that, prices dropped by around $40, and stayed there until a late 2013/early 2014 price hike, where it remained until this gen's increase. It's been a WILD ride up here for the last 30 years. As for now, base prices for new games in the upcoming gen will be up to approximately $97 in my province, which is gross.
