Nintendo doesn't control enough of the market to keep Gamestop afloat on its own.
Gamestop is a dying model. Those kinds of specialty retailers just don't exist anymore. Between big box stores, amazon, and digital sales, they're between a rock and a hard place. They've done a fairly good job overall of trying to keep themselves relevant. Integrating think geek was a good call. But, I just don't see how they can stay in existence in the current market.
