AMD has released a brand new driver for its graphics cards. According to the release notes, the AMD Radeon Software Adrenalin 2020 Edition 20.9.1 fixes a number of issues that AMD owners had with the previous drivers.
Going into more details, this new driver resolves the performance issues in Project CARS 3 when the Radeon Software performance metrics overlay is active. It also fixes some flickering issues in Borderlands 3 in some locations when Radeon Boost was active.

NVIDIA GeForce 456.38 WHQL driver released, optimized for Fortnite RTX & Mafia Definitive Edition

NVIDIA has released a brand new driver for its graphics cards. According to the release notes, the NVIDIA GeForce 456.38 WHQL driver adds official support for the GeForce RTX 30 series. Moreover, it offers optimal performance in Fortnite RTX, Mafia: Definitive Edition and Halo 3 ODST.
Additionally, this new driver adds GeForce Experience Automatic Performance Tuning for GeForce RTX 30-series and RTX 20-series. It also adds GeForce Experience in-game performance monitoring for GeForce GTX 600 series and above. The NVIDIA GeForce 456.38 WHQL driver also introduces NVIDIA Broadcast app with AI-powered noise removal and virtual background.

Crusader Kings 3 is that rare beast: a hugely popular medieval-inspired game that doesn't chuck in a load of fantasy tropes alongside its real-world history. As someone who was a medievalist scholar in another life I can appreciate the developers' attempts to keep things grounded in reality (though I also like the fact that the game gives you options to toggle things like allowing female heirs into the line of succession and decriminalising same-sex relationships—allowing you to tailor exactly how gloomily real you want your realism to be on any given day).
Whether you regard it as a logical next step in adding more appealing and varied features to the game, or an inevitable concession to players who simply can't enjoy medieval Europe without Merlin doddering around magicking swords into stones, I think we can all agree that a fantasy mod for this game was inevitable. And, sure enough, it's on its way with the announcement of Anbennar.
Fans of historical grand strategy games in general and 2013's Europa Universalis IV in particular may already be familiar with the name, as Anbennar has existed as a popular fantasy total conversion mod for that game since 2018. Now, a large team of modders working collaboratively—led by Jay10101, who first started work on the mod six years ago—are bringing Anbennar to Crusader Kings 3.

Confirmed: Crysis Remastered will have the classic nanosuit mode from the original PC version

During its recent livestream, Crytek confirmed that Crysis Remastered will feature a classic nanosuit mode. This classic mode features the original nanosuit functionalities that PC gamers enjoyed in the original PC version of Crysis.
By default, the game will be using the X360/PS3 nanosuit mode. In order to enable the classic PC nanosuit mode, you’ll have to enable it from the game’s options menu.
>> And it runs at 38fps at 1080p on Very High settings.... with a 2080Ti, that is.

Ubisoft officially announces Splinter Cell VR and Assassin’s Creed VR for Oculus devices
