I would like to think they would trade blows on different games in rasterization, and I wouldn't could that out. Games optimised with DLSS and RT, I'm predicting Nvidia cards to pull ahead. I was planning on preordering the RTX 3080 at launch but I might just wait until everything is out in the open (benchmarks and all) before pulling out my wallet. That and still want a PS5 this year lol.
