Maybe not the RTX 2080Ti guys. I've seen some go for like under £500 on Ebay. You have to sell them before the new cards and prices are announced to get closer to full return.
People think PC's are a lot more expensive than consoles. But if you play smart, you can upgrade every few years without much outlay. The 3K series is quite a bit faster but its really up to the person to see its its worth paying a few hundred more for some more FPS. Saying that, the RTX 2070 doesn't fetch as much as it used to second hand.
