So I'm assuming the 3080 will be about 2.3 times faster than my 1080 in 4K, ignoring DLSS and RTX. Sounds like I will have to turn down a lot of settings to get consistent 4k120 in most games unless I go 3090.

And it looks like I will have to have stable FPS because it seems the LG TVs have issues with VRR.

Dang maybe I will wait a year then to get a new TV. Can't go back to non VRR after going G-sync, specially at 4k.

The worst part is the TV doesn't even have G-Sync ultimate, which means no gsync + HDR. Gotta pick carefully which games to play with or without gsync.

Not gonna beat myself up over it because I was gonna buy the TV no matter what and if gaming doesn't work out on I'll just get myself a monitor.
