Mmm.

Personally I don't like buying expensive things from Ebay due to the warranty situation.

For example with phones, you can buy a new Samsung phone in Canada for like $1,599.99 for 128 GB model. You can buy the exact same model on ebay, just with 256GB for $1,300.96.

The kicker comes when you have to deal with warranty situation as the phone originated from a different country. So if something happens regardless of whether or not it's a manufacturing defect, Samsung won't honour the warranty. (Well unless it explodes lul)

LG has been known to replace burn in problems with their OLED TVs even when the TVs are out of warranty. It doesn't mean you may be that lucky but I'd think about the warranty situation with OLED TVs just in case something happens. Specially if it's gonna be plugged into my PC.
