Oh there are more lame yearly series and I hate them all as well and there are plenty more. Just giving examples of games that dont last even a year.

no worries its Not just you. I think nvedia played a little to much with that presentation. There seems to be a lot of confusion. Even digital foundry dint really give real performance in frame rate like they usually do. they had instead a percentage that said how much better the 3080 is over the 2080. I cant say I remember if they even said what the actual frame rate the cards where achieving. 

I guess we just gotta wait untill the embargo is done.
