One could argue that Death Stranding is also on PC and thus ... something? I dunno. I like the idea of PS games going to PC after a couple of years. It ensures the brand stays strong and Sony can continue making games that are great, while also being able to include my 'PC master race' peeps in the long run. 

I agree with your point on this, however in Death Stranding's case it was announced as coming to PC back when Andrew House and Kojima announced the Playstation partnership to begin with, so there wasn't really much of a shock there. In HZD's case it caught some people off guard because it was 1st party. 

After just reading more into this, it appears Twitter just deactivated a guys account who was threatening to kill Sony executives over this ordeal.
