Gamecube - perhaps not so great on the first party front compared to most other Nintendo consoles (at least for my money), but terrific when it came to 2nd party, and pretty underrated on the third party front too. Not only does it have the superior Smash Bros, but also one of the best Metroid games in Prime, one of my all-time favorite JRPGs on Tales of Symphonia, the last F-Zero (very underrated racer btw), and freaking Eternal Darkness. 'nuff said there.. The Resident Evil series is also well-represented on the console. Controller, while a bit odd, feels great to use. Wavebird was solid too.
Dreamcast - Excellent titles like Crazy Taxi, Sonic, Power Stone 2, Soul Calibur, Grandia II, Chu Chu Rocket, Space Channel 5. Great, diverse lineup when it comes to styles, genres and age groups. Was a steal when it hit $99. Was an excellent last hurrah for Sega that deserved better. Unfortunately the market was too crowded + their awful marketing decisions unjustly held this great console back.
