While it didn't sell well, there's a lot of love and appreciation for the GameCube. Even the controller has a reputation for being one of the best of all time.
The Wii U, though? Nintendo dropped the ball in a lot of areas and failed to fulfill a lot of promises but when I was chatting on Miiverse, playing Nintendo Land with others, watching a random YouTube video and seeing my Mii appear in their SM 3D World gameplay, or experiencing the pure joy that was Pikmin 3, nothing else mattered. Plus it had the best porn browser on the market. 🙄
