Whats freaky to me is that they can talk..... if taught to do so.
Koko knew like 1300 words, in sign language, and would even make "new" words, and explain their meanings occasionally.
She suggested she wanted offspring (a baby) and that she too would teach it, how to talk.
Sadly, she did not get along with other Gorilla's (she considered them stupid and annouying, ei. they didnt talk), she never did mate, or have a baby.
She could actually watch TV/Movies and talk about her experiance of the movie ect. How nuts is that?
There was another one, I forget the name of, that used a picture board, and would combind these to make sounds and words.
Apparently this one knew more than 2100 words.
