Depends on what you want to do. I couldn’t work at my job without a degree, and my masters pays me more money. They can be very worthwhile. However, there are some jobs that don’t require one at all. My brother makes like three times what I make (not hard, I’m a teacher) without a degree. He is a big time race director who organizes marathons all over the country.
So basically, it comes down to the career you want. If you are working in computer science, I know my brother got a degree in computer science, but it was kinda worthless... the field seemed to care more about certifications.
That being said, having a bachelors is basically the new high school diploma, it’s pretty much expected in most of the job market. So while definitely not required for a lot of jobs, the lack of one is a bit of a blemish...
