? eh...what? People...you need to boost that reading comprehension. If you can't follow the simple instructions of a flash game.....I have major concerns for your well being in the modern workforce. |
For me, there was a lack of definition. They refer to "your number" in the last step, but I find that kind of vague. In the first step, they make a point of asking you to remember or write down a number, so I wrote mine down. Then in the second step, they ask you to subtract the sum of the number's digits from itself. I wrote the result of that down too. It then asks you to stare at the image corresponding to "your number". I had two numbers written down that qualified as a "your number", so I started with the first. There were a few reasons for this:
- It specifically asks you to remember the original number
- It claimed to be able to read your mind
- Upon initially seeing the step, the elipsis at the end of the top sentence made it look like an interlude. I thought I'd play along and see what was next
Obviously, when the mind reading was done, failed to work and offered me another shot, I tried the modified number. They could have said "the result from the previous step" or something to that effect and cleared the whole matter up IMHO. You don't see how those instructions were vague? They're simple, yes, but badly worded. What was it in the text that made you choose your result and not your original number when you first played it?
