For a GP or GAAS model MP can help a lot on keeping players subscribed and needing less releases.

We shall see. It's hard to argue with the success of games like FN or Rocket, yet 'less releases' is exactly what doomed their current gen run. Someone like me starts a new game every week or two so variety is very important. The MP stuff I'll sprinkle in an hour here and there.

Certainly lack of games impacted current gen for MS, but having GP filled with games that every month receives a new chapter, some heavy hitter MP games can make the platform always busy.
