That’s a little dramatic. This ain’t 2013 fuck ups, not by a long shot. I wouldn’t call the reveal a deal breaker considering the gameplay, art style, music, and story were largely praised. Think the loudest and most hateful reactions were from people that don’t plan to play anyway.
