Today's Marvel's Avengers War Table presentation revealed more about the upcoming beta, which sounds like it will be a pretty meaty experience as these things go, with more than 20 solo and co-op missions to take on in the War Zones and HARM Challenge Rooms. Metamorphosis, inspired by the Franz Kakfa novella of the same, is a game about waking up to discover that you've been turned into a small insect of some sort, and also that your friend Joseph has been arrested. That's kind of a weird pairing of events, eh? In fact the whole thing looks very weird, and a new trailer that dropped today to reveal the August 12 release date does not help dispel that notion.

Dota 2 and CS:GO players on the eastern side of North America may find that their matchmaking experience is a little rougher than usual today. And for once, it's not because somebody is trying to stir up trouble with a DDoS attack: According to the official Dota 2 Twitter account, the problem is that somebody, somewhere, chopped a cable.

The dreadful Fortnite banana, who is typically covered with a naturally-occurring yellow peel, is naked now.
You might think it would be more correct to say that the banana is skinless, but that isn't the case. As you can see above, the banana wears regular human shorts, which implies that the peel was not its skin, but a piece of clothing.

In Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, players can develop and stockpile nuclear weapons. There's a decent reason to do so: owning nuclear weaponry increases your PF Grade, and they're also a good way to disincentive other players invading your Mother Base. They do a lot of damage, you see.

There's a lot of Total War DLC on the horizon
