After letting the cat out of the bag a bit early, Riot has now officially unveiled Valorant's next agent: Killjoy. We already knew about all of her abilities from the leak, which you can read below, but now you can see them in action in the trailer.
Sea of Thieves now lets you turn skulls into flamethrowers
https://www.pcgamer.com/sea-of-thieves-now-lets-you-turn-skulls-into-flamethrowers/
There's a warm breeze heating up Sea of Thieves today, as the Ashen Winds update is live. Ashen Lords can now appear on islands, throwing flaming rocks and surrounding pirates in darkness. There are a few reasons why you might want to put them back in the ground, but the most important one is that you can turn their skulls into flamethrowers.

https://www.pcgamer.com/hawkeye-will-come-to-marvels-avengers-in-a-post-launch-update/
Today's Marvel's Avengers War Table presentation revealed more about the upcoming beta, which sounds like it will be a pretty meaty experience as these things go, with more than 20 solo and co-op missions to take on in the War Zones and HARM Challenge Rooms. But the big news is that Clint Barton, aka Hawkeye, he of the bow and arrow and inspirational speeches, will be coming to the game in a post-launch update.
Metamorphosis, the Kafka-inspired game about bugs, gets a very weird new trailer
https://www.pcgamer.com/metamorphosis-the-kafka-inspired-game-about-bugs-gets-a-very-weird-new-trailer/
Metamorphosis, inspired by the Franz Kakfa novella of the same, is a game about waking up to discover that you've been turned into a small insect of some sort, and also that your friend Joseph has been arrested. That's kind of a weird pairing of events, eh? In fact the whole thing looks very weird, and a new trailer that dropped today to reveal the August 12 release date does not help dispel that notion.

Dota 2 and CS:GO players on the eastern side of North America may find that their matchmaking experience is a little rougher than usual today. And for once, it's not because somebody is trying to stir up trouble with a DDoS attack: According to the official Dota 2 Twitter account, the problem is that somebody, somewhere, chopped a cable.

The horrible Fortnite banana is shirtless now
https://www.pcgamer.com/the-horrible-fortnite-banana-is-shirtless-now/
The dreadful Fortnite banana, who is typically covered with a naturally-occurring yellow peel, is naked now.
You might think it would be more correct to say that the banana is skinless, but that isn't the case. As you can see above, the banana wears regular human shorts, which implies that the peel was not its skin, but a piece of clothing.
Metal Gear Solid 5's seemingly impossible nuclear disarmament condition has been achieved
https://www.pcgamer.com/metal-gear-solid-5s-seemingly-impossible-nuclear-disarmament-condition-has-been-reached/
In Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, players can develop and stockpile nuclear weapons. There's a decent reason to do so: owning nuclear weaponry increases your PF Grade, and they're also a good way to disincentive other players invading your Mother Base. They do a lot of damage, you see.
There's a lot of Total War DLC on the horizon
https://www.pcgamer.com/theres-a-lot-of-total-war-dlc-on-the-horizon/
Come August 13, when A Total War Saga: Troy launches, Creative Assembly will have three Total Wars on the go, and that means there's a lot of DLC coming. In its July dev blog, the developer teased what's coming to each strategy romp later this year.
